A Departure From My Usual Blog

Yesterday I found myself honored in a way I would never have dreamed. I have certainly never thought of myself as a "mid-life heroine," or any other kind of heroine for that matter. But I was nominated some months ago by a dear Virginia friend to be spotlighted on the Vested Beauty website as such. My goal, especially in recent years, is to be true to myself and continue to become and evolve (bloom, if you will) as much as I can in the years I still have in my life. If, in the process, I become a role model for others, that is an added bonus. For right now I am both honored, and, most especially, humbled. Thank you, Susan Anderson.
